With a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology/Criminal Justice Administration from Claflin University and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Troy University, Anthony’s educational background laid a firm foundation for his successful career.

Anthony’s law enforcement journey began in the U.S. Navy from 1990-1994 as a Navy Police Patrolman at Naval Submarine Base, Kings Bay, GA. In 1995, he transitioned to civilian law enforcement, joining the City of Orangeburg Department of Public Safety in South Carolina. Graduating from the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy the same year, Anthony dedicated 14 years of service to the local municipality and county levels, honing his expertise in SVU investigations during his tenure at the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office.

In November 2009, Anthony embarked on a new chapter in his career as the civilian Supervisory SVU Special Agent / Subject Matter Expert for the Fort Jackson Resident Agency, Department of Army Criminal Investigation Division (DACID). He graduated from the DACID 15-week Special Agent’s Course in April 2010. With a focus on Crimes against Persons, Problematic Sexual Behavior in Children and Youth, Child Abuse & Exploitation, Family Violence, and Domestic Violence involving Strangulation, he played a pivotal role in leading, supervising, and participating in numerous SVU-related investigations. Anthony’s contributions extended beyond his investigations, as he served as an instructor for the U.S. Army’s Forensic Child Interview Course from 2014-2023, prepared and conducted subject matter presentations, and served on various boards and panels. Anthony has been qualified as an expert witness during criminal proceedings and also held a Federal top-secret security clearance during his DACID tenure. He retired in September 2023.

Outside of his law enforcement career, Anthony is the proud father of four adult children and a loving grandfather. With a strong spiritual foundation, he has been an active member of various church communities throughout his life, with a commitment to his faith that led to his ordination as a Reverend in July 2013.

In addition to his professional and spiritual pursuits, Anthony is an avid sports fan, particularly of the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) drag racing series. He is also a proud member of the illustrious Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated. Additionally, Anthony has a passion for education and seeks to promote awareness and knowledge regarding the dynamics and impact of sexual and family violence as part of his SVU career goals. Anthony is dedicated to fostering fairness, dignity, and respect within the criminal justice system and bridging the gap between law enforcement and society. Through education, awareness, and accountability, he aims to significantly reduce the occurrence of these heinous SVU acts.
